5 handed. Villain is 36/37 LAG with 16% 3bet over a few hundred hands. My 4bets were getting shoved on so I thought I would defend by flatting, standard?

Are we folding blank river?

SB: $1,332.75
BB: $1,694.50
Hero (UTG): $1,031.00
CO: $3,376.00
BTN: $1,928.70

SB posts SB $5.00, BB posts BB $10.00

Pre Flop: ($15.00) Hero has Q J
Hero raises to $35.00, fold, BTN raises to $104.00, fold, fold, Hero calls $69.00

Flop: ($223.00, 2 players) 8 Q 2
Hero checks, BTN bets $134.00, Hero calls $134.00

Turn: ($491.00, 2 players) 6
Hero checks, BTN bets $243.00, Hero calls $243.00

River: ($977.00, 2 players) Q
Hero bets $550.00 and is all-in

Meh if he's good I think you should check the river. What bluffs do you seriously have in your range?

I would soul read on blanks but lean towards fold.
Check out the new blog!!!

fine
My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.

If he was a LAG like you said, then I think I like this play. If he was a nit, I would've folded on the turn.

I'm never folding a riv blank after playing the hand this way vs this sort of opponent. If he is going to go insane with 3bs pre, then I'm going to make him show me a hand when I decide to defend oop and flop a pair. We don't know how retarded he is (dumb spot to bluff on blank riv bc so many draws missed and you are repping a hand with sd value) and you will be getting a good price on a call. develop a read further from there.

As the hand was played out, I would def instacheck the riv, just to make your hand look as weak as possible. Someone said it earlier, what bluffs do you have in your range? and given how wide he is 3betting, how many real hands does he have here? a hand you are looking to get called by is even less likely because he is unlikely to cbet and double barrel hands like 22-99 and 8x.
