Hi, I have seen a lot of very good players posting here and would like to participate in this community. I am a HU-"specialist" but I am working very hard to improve my 6m-game. I think my biggest leak in 6m is that I overplay my hands/bet too thin. In this hand villian is 16/13 and 1raises on the BU 27% after 1,1k hands. He is in particular a FR winning player but has a good winrate in 6m games as well. I donked the flop for obv reasons with the intention of bet/calling if get raised. I donk some flops with different types of hands but I am not sure if villian has noticed it. I think the most players do raise their flushes on the flop or on the turn so that I expected to be ahead if nobody raises almost always but I am not sure about that. What do u guys think about my play and thoughts here? Do I overrep/overplay my hand again on the flop and turn? What do you think is the best line with this hand overall? What would you do on the river as played: betsizing etc? Thx!

edit: SB is a 63/1 fish after 170 hands...

No-Limit Hold'em, $10.00 BB (6 handed)
CO ($1000)
Button ($1000)
SB ($637.35)
Hero (BB) ($945.60)
UTG ($1020)
MP ($1000)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 9
3 folds, Button bets $25, SB calls $20, Hero calls $15
Flop: ($75) 9, 7, 4 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $55, Button calls $55, 1 fold
Turn: ($185) Q (2 players)
Hero bets $170, Button calls $170
River: ($525) 2 (2 players)

Depending on how villain plays vs 3 bets I think squeezing is a pretty good option preflop as well you didn't really mention anything about sb.

As played I think your line is fine and I'd b/f the river like 3 something.

I like your line, If anything I think a flop c/r might over-rep your hand more than this. I'd def b/f river 390ish.

@bet/fold river: we have only about 25bbs left when we bet like 300?

assuming we have no special reads and villian would raise the flop, how would u play? 3bet? call and c/c, c/r or c/f turn?

if he would raise the turn we would fold right?

My bankroll is the amount of money I would spend or lose before I got a job. It is calculated by adding my net worth to whatever I can borrow.
