Villain is a 2p2'er, winning msnl and hsnl player. I've got him running at 20/15/3.3 over 2k hands. We don't have much history but he's thinking, tricky, aggro, etc. etc. He's only been at the table a couple of orbits and these hands happened in quick succession.

What are your calling ranges in each hand?

1. Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Holdem Ring game - Blinds: $5/$10 - 6 players - Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $1832
UTG+1: $935
CO: $992
Button: $2364.15
SB: $1011.25
BB: $980

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with xx
Hero raises to $35, 4 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 8 A 8 ($75, 2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $60, BB raises to $180, Hero calls.

Turn: T ($435, 2 players)
BB is all-in $765, Hero...

2. CO is the table fish, 30/18, calls way too much. jfish definitely knows this. Probably assumes I know it too.

Hand 1: At least J8, the reason obviously being this is a standard spot and while he's tricky, i just doubt he's has a huge bluffing frequency here.

Hand 2: Wow i just have no idea what he could possibly be thinking here, it just doesn't make sense for him to have a big hand so unless he's thinking on level 224756 (well probably around 3 or 4) I say JJ+, AK. I may look at this hand later and change my mind but right now this is my assesment.

Hand 1 - What does he think you have and does he expect you to call? he probably puts you on an ace most likely and he probably think that you will fold an ace to that overbet on the turn, and rightly so.

So, why would he make this bet? it doesnt make sense, he is getting no value from your most likely hand so why would he do it with something like an 8 or a flush? UNLESS he thinks that you are thinking this so you call with an ace. It all depends on what he thinks of you and what level you think he is thinking on makes all the difference.

If you think he is thinking that you are thinking that then I'd say your calling range should be a flush or better as he would thinik your calling range would be wider so this is less likely to be a bluff.

He hasnt got Ax here as AK would reraise preflop and any lower aces would slow down on he turn. so its either a flush, 8 or bluff. my money would be on QJdd or something similar.

Hand 2 - If he thinks this is the table fish then he would almost certainly reraise a good hand in the first place as he expects table fish to overvalue his hands and call. His line makes no sense - I would call with 1010+ and AQ+

hand 2 is weird. If CO is table fish, then why wouldn't villain be 3-betting him to isolate with any decent hand? He can't be that strong here I don't think. This looks like some midpair/weak-ace hand that is now trying to push hero off his squeeze.

I don't get why jfish is shoving ATs. I also probably threebet ATs a good amount versus that opp.

Yeah thats a pretty horrible play by jfish, way -EV.
Assuming hero has a hand that he will call jfish with 50% of the time, not sure on the figures but id guess somewhere around that as hero will probably call jfish a lot lighter seeing as he didnt 3bet the table fish in the first place.

50% of the time he will win $230 and 50% of the time he will likely be dominated in a $2400 pot.
