SB is a very good tricky TAG that I think plays up to 10/20. He certainly is capable of making a move here (I have FE imo). I'm a standard TAG, only 3rd hand of session and historically nothing weird. What is your flop line?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (6 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP ($145)
CO ($591)
Hero ($609)
SB ($960.60)
BB ($1611.80)
UTG ($941.55)

Preflop: Hero is Button with Q, T.
UTG raises to $18, 2 folds, Hero calls $18, SB calls $15, 1 fold.

Flop: ($60) 5, 2, 4 (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero bets $42, SB raises to $148, UTG folds, Hero

nothing against you dean, but why are we still considering 600nl as high steaks? it was like 3 years ago when this forum was probably created, but its def. n0t HSNL anymore.

/stupid rant

as for the hand, i dont like calling really at all given description of villain because he follows through on alot of turns that push us off our draw. i think shoving is def best here given FE, which you have vs his AsX type hands and your flipping vs hands like 77-99 that could look you up.

ill go back to my hole now

I'd check back the flop most of the time but as played go all in or call or fold or something

If you think villain is tricky, I'd say his range is primarily air hands or super strong hands.

That being said, I don't think there is much value in shoving over his flop c/r, compared to shoving over all his turn leads.

If you shove over his flop c/r, he calls you with all the same hands he'd call a turn shove with, and you possibly get more money out of his air hands when he bet/folds the turn.

I'd flat this flop c/r, and re-evaluate turn based on his timing/bet sizing. If i think he's weak I'd shove all turns, and obviously shove spades. If I felt he was strong, it still have the option of folding turn.

Fold. I doubt he's doing this with a wide enough range for pushing to be good and I don't like your implied odds enough for a call.

you wanna check flop since you gotta felt if raised (and even if you dont gotta felt you dont wanna get knocked off your draw), but you dont wanna felt since some ace high hands will show up.

I ship flop because I have overs+FD and I am a spewtard but I think this might be my leak because of griffey's post. Did he push and had a set? I think he is strong here.

Who is villain btw?
