strikes me as a problem to not go aggro for stacks with a broadway overpair on all but the most coordinated boards vs a v good hs pro.

Yo,

Max had a very tight image at the table. My feeling personally was Max had two streets of value and c/call down was the better option as he is likely vbetting two streets with everything max was getting value from and at least we get money from floats.

Obviously I think versus different players or different history id just fire 3.

I'm not sure why you think high stakes players are betting unreasonably thin?

would it be bad to vb A9 in villains spot?

Well anyways, you beat a ten and bluffs, which is enough here i think.

I think it'd be pretty borderline to bet A9 here. And maybe i'm being stupid with betsizing but i really think it would be weird to bet pot when all the draws hit.

Also how does he have a T? What is he bluffing with?

Well it seems like betsizing is the principal issue, as I'm assuming you'd call if he bet 2/3 pot. I just wonder if we can even use his betsizing as being evident of anything. On the first level it would indicate polarity, but a good player is easily capable of potting it with a marginal made hand for value in order to trap people who think their's is a "nuts or nothing" bet.

Obviously him having a ten would be abnormal, but I believe if somehow he decided to float you with a hand like AsTs, he'd play it like this on the turn or river. As far as him bluffing, yeah I can't think of much.

I think the problem here is that given your line you never have a flush (c/c turn with FD?.. prob not too often, more likely barrel). So his potsize bet with draws hitting doesn't mean much, if he's not worried about you having it.
