In the 1st hand I have no reads on the preflop re-raiser since he had just sat down at the table. Thoughts on my play are appreciated. Results in WHITE.

The 2nd hand I was expecting a re-raise all in since I had him on AA-KK preflop. I think a cold call seems fairly obvious for a set and though my overbet might look like a bluff. He claims he had aces.

1st hand.... uh... I guess some times one of them will have AA, but the re-raiser only has 80 behind. You must push to isolate (even though it failed)
2nd hand .... I think you should lead out for an overbet, like 50 or so, instead of the c/r (I got this from D Brunson SS2) .
Villian bet pot and you c/raised him a real amount... what could you have that AA beats AQ or KK? Maybe, but you limp-call with these pre-flop? You could be on a semi-bluff with 9T or less likely KT. But a check/raise semi-bluff? Give the guy credit for a read here.
Or maybe he had some crap, and just is trying to make you think he made a good laydown.

1st - No reason to push I think, just make it so you put the shortstack all in, then it's much more tempting for the QQ guy to come over the top.
2nd - Yeah, I also like leading with sets, but why the overbet though on this flop? It's not that draw heavy or anything. I like the weakish 1/2 to 2/3 pot lead more here.
