I post these weird lines because they are, umm, weird. standard hands are standard and not worth discussing that often.

Opponent is a solid regular who doesnt make that many moves, he does take 2/3 pot stabs on the flop quite often when nobody else seems interested. He probably views me as tricky LAG who often times spews and perhaps bluffs a tad bit too much. What could I possibly have here? And my opponent (I dont know that either)

Hand 1. Suited connector/gapper. 6 through J of diamonds. You don't raise the turn cause you don't want it to be obvious you hit a flush and want to make a bet on river to get more out of opp.

Hand 2. 99+. I don't see you calling a shove with Axs since there's only backdoor flush draws. Could be A5 though. 5% of the time you have 43s

on the first hand you have at least AK, but not the flush. maybe something like AxKd, A5s, or set, all of which is blocking the river.

hand 2 you should have AA-KK, sometimes QQ.

#1 I had KdTd. He had been taking a lot of stabs at the pots and I wanted to CR him here for meta-game and deception purposes. When the flush hit I thought that betting would be too obvious and that he couldnt continue with a monster.

#2 AA, again he had been stabbing and perhaps tilting a bit and I was hoping that somebody would try to make a move on him. after all, I had the relative position on him. He had A4 and propably put me on medium pocket pair that couldt take the heat, he also had 7 outs against anything else besides AA, boat or quads (and 43).

i think the goofy line with KTd cost your money. i also think you should have bet more on river with the practical nuts.

i think these alternatives lines are good against regulars once in a while, like 1/10 of the time maybe. i would only use these non standard lines against someone i know is very aggressive. your description of him just sounds like a standard TAG, not necessarily someone you can count on putting his stack in as a bluff whenever you manipulate him into doing so.
