villian is 25/4/5. since he was last to act on flop, i dont think he would check a set through on a board with two clubs. it seemed like he was just making a play as a semibluff.
i couldnt put him on a hand that beats me, with possible exception of something like AsJs (but with that i dont think he bets so much on river).
thoughts on the call? with a better read would you make this?

It could very well be a busted draw. Did you get pwnt by T x /J x /J x /66/54?
I like the call. Jx/Tx would check behind generally.

I think A6 is also a possibility.

45 or air. I can see checking a small OESD on the 2 club flop.
That's a big call to make. He closed the action on the flop - why not bluff at it there? Why play long ball with you?

maybe he picked up a draw on the turn and was semibluffing.

Looks good. I would have played it the same way.
The bet on the turn is good, it is quite likely you hold the best hand (seeing how 10/20 NL players are aggressive and will generally bet any hand stronger than yours on the flop), and even if you dont, you have a lot of outs to improve against a better hand.
Calling his raise is good. Reraising would be a mistake here, since a 4-bet by the villain's monster shuts you down and a cold call by the villain's draw leaves you getting bluffed on the river if the villain whiffs. Further more, by calling you induce a bluff on the river that is small enough for you to actually call.
Checking on the river is good, no reason to bet here as no weaker hand calls (though some weaker hands raise). You also want to induce a bluff if the villain missed.
Calling the river is good. No draws really connected and besides a spade draw with a jack you are ahead of him a good share of the time here due to the villains extremely large aggression factor. He would have bet a monster on the flop, being last to act, so he can't hold a flopped monster. The turn did little to improve his made hand besides possibly giving him draws. Due to his 25% VPIP I think its unlikely he connected for two pair on the turn (he wouldnt have limped with 26, 36, or T6). There is no way he checks behind 45 (and OESD) on the flop, last to act. Also I feel a jack with a spade draw will check behind a good share of the time for showdown value. A6 will definitely check behind. I think his most likely holding is a spade draw.

anybody else find the really loose/passive preflop action interesting?
gabe, tell me this is just a freak type hand and this isn't anything common in the 10/20 game on party?
Anyway, this guy's limping range is very wide here preflop in late position in a multiway pot, which makes it kind of difficult to put him on a hand... but lets give it a shot.
pf nothing to discuss unless you want to be a badass and attack some dead money
flop nothing to discuss (as far as our play, but if co has a big made hand here, his check is just terrible, and unlikely)
Turn seems like a pretty easy lead which you did. When I get popped back I don't really know what to think. I probably just muck here knowing that I have 15 outs to a 2p or better hand, but I'm fairly confident I'm behind and I have no idea which outs are good and it's really a pretty bad reverse implied odds situation.
River, ugh, I dunno. Against most players, this bet, and how this hand played out, you can narrow down his range to air/monster here. I don't particularly like the call, but I think that's more of an extension of playing past the turn. 66, 45, JT, 7c9c 7c8c 8c9c, air, flopped set, Ac4c Ac5c, none would really surprise me.
