So I played this hand yesterday at the Master of Classics tournament in Amsterdam.
my stack = 2800
UTG+1 stack = 4000+
blinds 75-150, 2 hours into the tournament, rebuy period is over.
I pick up   UTG and open for 375, UTG+1 calls everyone else folds.
flop:   
UTG+1 made an early add-on rebuy and has been playing aggressively seemingly eager to build a stack early.
What is the best line?
Personally I see two plausable plays, either lead out with a typical continuation bet planning to push any reraise and push any turn if he just calls or check raise him all-in. I can't see a way to let this go especially as the prise structure is very top heavy and continuing here with a crippled stack would be almost hopeless.
Thoughts?

I think you have to make some sort of c-bet here. It will build a pot worth fighting for when you make your hand and it will disguise your draw. If he pushes after you bet the flop you've got a tough decision though, so you may just want to push that flop and hope he doesn't have 44, or a good king so you can add the 500+ chips to your stack.

My two favorite plays here:
Lead for 375 again. It looks like you could be slowplaying KK or QQ begging for action. If he raises rather big and I don't feel a monster hand from him, reraise enough to be commited. If I feel a big hand from him and the raise isn't too much, I'd probably just call and hope to hit the turn. If I missed the draw on the turn I'm likely folding, since he'd likely bet hard.
Check, again looking to represent trapping with AA, KK or QQ. When he bets (I'm guessing around 450), reraise to about 1400, but not all in. Represent that you want a call. You're commited after that if he does call or reraise, and would have to push any turn.

I checked he bet 500 I raised all in. After a long pause he finally called with his pocket jacks...obviously putting me on a draw. My 15 outs missed and was knocked out of the tournament.

Oooh, I think both of my plays would've worked.
Overbetting all in on the flop (especially after they've bet), to a good player, really looks like a draw. AA and AK are the only real hands that make sense there. If he can read you, physically, as being weak, calling makes sense. Still a hell of a call by him, though.

Well he had clear odds to call, 1925 to call into a 2x 375 + 150 +75 +500 + 2425 = 3900 pot. It would have been more +EV to just take down the pot on the flop. I am still amazed that he could find the call with two overcards on the board though.
Its clear that I have many nuances of the game to learn to reach the level of play of good MTT players like Michael1123 or my opponent here. In his spot I wouldn't have even considered the call.
