Hey all
Been a spectator for a while on this forum but first post. This hand was a strange one. I was new to table, second hand so no reads, but I had him for overpair or AK [not sure how to post a hand that I dont have in history so i will do my best]

UTG - (can't remember how much)
Button - £360
Small- £495 (me)
Big - £495

Blinds
Posts Small Blind £2
Big Blind £5

PRE-FLOP

SB (me) - dealt 9c 9d

UTG - folds
Button - raises £5 to £10
SB - calls £10
BB - raises £10 to £20
Button calls
SB calls

FLOP

10s 6d 5h

SB - checks
BB - bets £20
Button folds
SB - raises £20 to £40
BB calls

TURN

9s

SB bets £150
BB calls

RIVER

Jh

SB bets £285 all-in
BB calls and is all in

Results in white
SB shows Three of a kind nines wins pot £1007
BB shows QsJd A pair of Jacks, Queen high

I got thinking about this hand and wondered if I could/should have put him on78? I mean i bet the pot after the turn because i did want some AKs pulling a flush, when it didnt hit i'm all-in obviously because i didnt put him on the 78 [+pot size, +i'll take my chances he didnt hit JJJ] . But does anyone think that if a player did have 78 they would only call my bet on the turn and give a "free" shot at the boat and flush?
Also any other comments about my min reraise on flop? I know it's hard without more info about table conditions.

Anyway any comments would be appreciated

I would have been all in as well. The only thing to critque you on is that you were new to the table and didn't know the player. Hands like these can't be avoided but I'm sure you know not to get too committed until you have good reads.
