I just had one of the stranger sessions of poker in a while. I need some help on if I played this hands good, or if there are glaring mistakes....I know there are at least a few.....

These happened within about 15 minutes....so just kind of flipped me out so now to relax to untilt some......Thanks in advance

Hand 1- Very first hand and just posted the newbie blind....I figured I was probably outkicked...but with him having such a shortstack I didnt stand to loose too much on this hand, so I reraised AI hoping my trips were good....they were...bad beat, oh well move on....but should I have folded to his reraise?

Hand 2-Same opp. has Hand 1. I probably should have found out where I was at on the flop....but I didnt...anyways when that turn card hit I thought I was golden...as he was a shortstack again I figured I'd just raise him AI and take the pot down.....didnt quite happen. Should I bet the flop and fold to aggression? But I believe he would have smooth called the flop and I would have been in the same situation?

Hand 3-This one threw me...I bet to see where I was at with the check to me....based on his previous actions, when he called I was about 70% sure he was on Axsmall, and 20% sure of flush draw, 10% slowplay. so I decided to check/fold if nothing interesting happened. When the Jd hit I sure didnt think he was on TP with backdoor flush draw...so I proceded to double him up. Anything you can do differently there?

In the first hand he bets most his table money on a flush draw. Unlucky for you he made it. Nothing you can do there, it’s a bad beat.

#2 he is trapping with KK. No PF raise and no bet on the flop with the obvious best hand. Odd way for him to play though it paid off for him when you made your hand. I have seen players like this. They will never bet with the best hand and just wait for people to bet into them. They think they are being smart. I would have done the same as you except I am apt to semi-bluff the flop there…very likely the same outcome unless for some reason he raised the my flop bet...at which point I would fold.

#3 your opponent is being carefull because his kicker sucks. Id put him on a weak A and likely play the hand the same. He just got lucky with the flush.
I would have lost all of these.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL

In the middle hand, why did you raise? Looking at the way he played
I would put him on a steal attempt with AK. It's obvious that you must call here but the raise is not needed. Only a hand that can beat you will call that raise. Everyone else folds. This is a leak which has taken me some time to control in my play.

Also, this may be the perfect situation for a continuation bet on the flop. You need to get your information early before the bets get out of control. Bet .60 on the flop. Alot of the time you will pick it up right there. But if you don't you have to start evaluating you opp's strength. On the turn you can bet $1. If he comes back at you on the turn you can then put him on a strong hand (stronger than TPTK) save some money. If he smooth calls and checks the river its a great place to check behind. You have to keep in mind that once TPTK gets into the later streets it will often be the second best hand.

Well from the first hand I thought my continuation bet had no chance of workin as I felt he would look me up with any cards....but then again maybe not and should have given it a shot....

However you are right that I should not have raised there...I was hoping for a fold, but calling there probably would have been the better move......

hand 2, yea i wouldn't have raised the turn but it doesn't matter a ton because of how easily you could've ended up ai on the river. his play wasn't terrible here even if he didn't know why it wasn't.

hand 3, LIMP JACKS!
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch

Hand 1: Nh

Hand 2: Hard to put him on anything better than TPTK on the turn there. Wouldn't be pissed at myself for not seeing this coming.

Hand 3: Noobish call by the Ax suited out of position pre flop. Unfortunate that his flush was your set card. I play the same, nice check on the turn. Ya got screwed.
