I think not c-betting as the PF raiser here, especially on the button, is really, really, truly, miserably bad. For every instance you could come up with where a cbet w/ AK runs into these weird hands and has to fold, I could show you ten where you go ahead and take down the pot.

Now see this is different as you are last to act on every street, with checks to you, this is a MUST of c-betting, that dude didnt pick up the flush draw until the turn, and the 55 didnt really like his hand anyways, you would have taken this pot down almost assuredly.
