Hmm, most likely not. Because he probably hit his third 7. He pre-flopped it too so most likely he has a higher pocket pair, OR worse, has pocket 7s. Good fold though.

Well, quite frankly, unless the board has trip 7's, I dont think you can put him on 7777. More likely, in my opinion, is that he has an overpair (like you) or he could have a9 even. That is what makes JJ so tricky, any high pair owns you and alot of mediocre hands fish out on you.

Reraise the preflop Get an idea of his hand. Drop it to a real reraise. You could call a small one and pray for J.
Well after this if you're still in the hand you should have a better idea where you are.
If you didn't get reraised...
Raise the flop harder.
Bet the turn big.
River... GL with that if he's still in the hand.

why do you do so much checking and calling with JJ and best position?? you should have dropped the hammer on the flop, or even pre-flop. it's your own fault that you got outdrawn/bullied off the best hand.
