Oooohhhkaye. So, I tried to get fancy and it didn't work out so good. On top of that, my intertrons went out at the end--honestly--although I probably would have folded the river anyway. Thoughts about this? Did I play this well in theory, or is this just stinky? I'm trying to work the occasional laggy move in w/ my normal boring game. Let me have it...

Terrible. I don't know if I can talk about it, the stank is choking me up.

- If you're going to re-raise with crap, re-raise more. You're begging him to stay in the hand.
- If you must re-raise with crap, it's helpful to have a read on the guy you're re-raising. This guy is pretty clearly a loose fishy type, and as a result the move is badly mistargeted. Note the way he keeps betting small and then calling big raises... he's a donk. There's no telling what he's clinging to. He has no idea what he's doing. But he ain't gonna fold.
- Also, if you must re-raise with crap, make it suited connectors or something... not total hopeless garbage. Who are you, Mike Matusow? You should be playing a hand that, hopefully, even if he has something (like a big pair), you can flop something better. 45o is very seldom going to be that hand. 45s is closer.
- Once you get that stupid flop action, you may as well let this shit go until/unless your hand improves. He's clearly about to elope with whatever he's got (jacks or something) so don't keep flailing away. The post-flop portion of this hand is grade A chip spewage.

It's hard to understand from the HH, b/c it's stupid VcPoker, but he raised $1.5 and I raised to $4.

You're right, that's a weird HH. I thought you bumped it 1.50 on the flop. Pre-flop is OK although I'd still prefer that you have a more flexible hand than 45o... but after he calls that re-raise and then the flop re-raise, you may as well roll over and die. Throw in some theater if you want, but he's not folding.

 You might think you played bad this hand, but imo villian played it worse. After I'm called on the flop I'm done with my charade here... esspecially with a calling station.
