I played in a live tournament last Wed. I was delt big slick in middle position. I raised pre-flop. 2 people before me and 1 person after me called me. Now I was next to last position. The flop was bad, J72 rainbow. checks around. The turn was a 3, gave me a flush draw. Checked to me. I felt I could steal this. I threw in 1,000 and the guy behind me went all in for 2,500. Everyone else folded. I had to decide why this guy would play this way.
I seriously considered folding, but I kinda felt I was pot commited, so I was debating. I picked up a good read (Thank you Caro's book of tells) so I called. He turned over KQo and I won on a high card Ace. This falls into my new motto, "When I do it, it's skill. When you do it, it's luck."

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...

Bad bet on the turn with only a high card. You made a bluff at it on the flop and he called, so I think checking would have been the right move on the turn. Luckily for you, the guy didn't have a pair. Real bad play on his part.
