Back playing some party after a long stint at the Prima network..

Here's a hand where I call a clear raise believing that he has hit his flush willingly drawing to 4 outs. Its important to recognise when you have huge implied odds and when pot odds don't matter especially with the new bigger stacks compared to blinds. 8 to call for 130 pot, 9% to hit, 8/130 < 9%. In hindsight a poor call by him with the low flush and paired board.

Another hand from last night on another table. Here I believe its not correct to push even when your opponent has (6)outs. I will take the risk of getting outdrawn for a high probability of taking his whole stack any day.

There is a lot of advice going around here about pushing when you have the best of it, but sometimes you just got to deviate from these rules

I agree with you here, for the most part. If you've got an aggressive player capable of making a move, sometimes it's entirely worth sacrificing pot odds on the turn for the big payoff after the river.
