In the first hand I just push on the flop.

In the second hand, I think you have to call out of pot odds unless you have a read.

the first hand you are just losing that, its part of poker. the 2nd hand, seems like a weak raise preflop. Why raise 1.5 preflop with kings shorthanded with 1 limper and only 1.25 full tabled with 2 limpers ahead of you. You HAVE to get AK heads up you dont want to take both of them with you. Were you afraid of someone playing KJ and hitting 2 pair on the turn? The flop bet seems fine because you have the A of hearts and the heart redraw if a heart comes on the turn, but when the blank hits the turn in the jack of clubs its time to take the pot down right there 1/2 the pot isnt the way to do it. You told the table you had junk, UTG+2 read you for having junk and took your pot away like he was suppose to.

very good....

I sympathize with you however, I also consistently lose my chips when i have a top pair and someone hits a set. Usually I end up calling there all in due to pot odds, unless they are a really deep stack.

Hand # 1, re-raise could set of alarms for AA. On the flop when you already projected power and he reraised you to $20 let it go. However, it could have turned into a good call if you read him for something like QQ or JJ.

Hand # 2, call b/c you were pots stuck.
