I have no read on anyone. Very new to the table, playing a little recreational low-stakes no limit. I would say that at least 70% of the time I put him on a weak king, a strong eight, or a middle pocket pair; therefore I would raise to $2 to rep a strong king. The other 30% of the time is what interests me. Pretend you're throwing your change-up... what is the change-up? Is a fold bad? Is a call bad? Make a case for me.

I often call and play a turn (usually raise, sometimes fold.)

Right. So let's say I called and the turn brings a low diamond - how do you plan to proceed from there? Call a reasonable bet and try to draw? Use position and raise? Does the diamond in fact effect how you view the hand? It certainly changes the likelihood that you will win with your cards and not with a bet.

If it's a stupid bet, I might be more inclined to just draw with odds.

More often than not, if I call that flop I'm not calling the turn.

I agree - if I miss the turn badly or pair up, I'm folding or raising. In this case I got a 6d and called a $2 bet.
