At the tables I play at which are a bit tighter than your style, I definately wouldn't give A10 as much credit as you did here. I personally would have bet a bit more on the flop and backed off if he was calling. And when the Jack fell I would have definately check/folded.

But from what I understand I play a lot tighter than you do in rings. That's just my play.

If you are going to get let yourself get bullied around if an A or T falls by a shortstack.. why raise at all?

Yeah in a tourney I might follow that thought, but I play different in ring games, also, I wouldn't really consider him a shortstack at that point anyway. But like I said, not a lot of bullies floating around in my games that I have to worry about.

If I was playing LAgg, I'd be prepared to drop any ace in a heartbeat. I'd only play AQ /AK for hand value and the rest just for being aggro. You raise with hands like 86 and others becuase you can give the image like you can play anything but by not playing aces, you never get trapped by stronger aces. I dunno, difficult to put my thoughts to words right now. I'm completely exhausted and I dunno why. Try and figure out what I'm saying. Uh, play weak hands for post flop value and deception, fold weak aces becuase you will probably get trapped, play strong aces for value.

I'm sure I'll come back to this tomorrow. I dunno where I'm going.
