? He was the big blind, came in for free. Pot was $1.25 when the first real bet came down (a raise of 75 cents) - his pot odds with the OESD were quite good. Then the knucklehead gave him a free card on top of it, which he gladly accepted.

In answer to the thread topic, he misplayed the crap out of those kings. Serves him right.

I guess he should fold the BB next time everyone limps around to him.

You played the hand fine.

The guy with the Kings absolutely misplayed the hell out of them. The man was sitting on the button and didn't raise them preflop. I could see if he was in EP and was confident someone was going to raise and allow him to re-raise but....no such luck. I can even respect that he may have been trying to switch things up and slowplay them but people need to realize when their slowplay has backfired and fold. Funny how often people will call a huge river bet with their A's or K's when someone else obviously has a straight or flush just because they want to show off what you beat or are afraid of being bluffed off such a great STARTING hand.

Greedo017 is on a distinguished road
at first glance thought your flop odds were no good, but you did it right. especially with the free card. he did everything wrong.

never managed to beat someone's aces or kings (that i've seen anyway) by them slowplaying to death. closest i've come, i made two pair with J 9 against AA, he limped/called the whole time. I had been very aggressive, he was calling pot + sized bets. river came ace, he checked i checked. lucky sob.
