I'm pretty sure it was a set, possibly flush but I doubt it. He thought for a LONG time before calling each bet.

Absolutely no way this is a set. No set plays like this on a draw heavy board - unless you think its a set of 6's which would make him probably one of the worst players around.

No way you fold this. Not in NL. He's check/calling, check/calling and then check-raise. If you really thought he hit the flush/had a set, then CHECK THE RIVER.

And if he does have the flush. You pay him off. You tell him "NH" and realize he's going to chase. In 25 NL Chasing = $$$$ (for the person betting, not the chaser). Let him win that and take the rest. I'm almost positive you have this one won. I like the value bet, but with the scare river card and you being the aggressive one in betting, check if you want. BUT DO NOT FOLD! DO NOT FOLD!!!!!!!!!!

sorry. I really don't think you lost this hand at all... unless he has a flush and you just buddy list him and destack him.
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

I agree with everyone else. You gotta pay this off. Given the information about your opponent thinking a lot before each act, you have to pay it off.

If he does have the flush then understand his deceptive behavior (waiting to bet or call)

Feels like he hit a lower two pair on the river and wasn't putting you on a flush so he raised.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

So what is it about this that should make me call? I don't quite understand

After thinking about it today it does seem more likely that he hit a smaller two pair but what should make me think that?
