Opp is 39% VPIP and 18% PFR at 100NL 6max, PT rates him as Slightly Loose Aggressive preflop and Aggressive post flop. Prior to this he had never played back at me--I was playing fairly loose and stealing a lot of his blinds (he is the BB here) on the button.

1 limper UTG, folds to me on the button, I see :Jh::Js: and raise it to $4
SB folds, BB reraises to $8, UTG folds, Hero calls

Flop is :Jd::Ks:, villain bets $8, Hero reraises to $20, villain folds, Hero collects $31.90 from pot

What do you put him on here and what do you do on this flop?

Blinds? Stack sizes?

A couple pretty cards, maybe worse. Puts you on a steal (people tend to put other's behavior in the same framework as their own, so frequent stealers are more inclined to put you on a steal.) His re-raise is to re-take the initiative.

The min-raise back + auto-bet seems to be a pretty popular NLHE move.

Probably call and get in lots of money on the turn. Got any notes on how he plays post-flop. In any case, I think you need to CALL some of these flop bets to put your opponent into uncomfortable turn spots where they often will tip their hand. Mix in raises too, but here I'm inclined to just call.

Flat call, hope for a non-spade turn card at which point you come over the top of him like a screaming jet fighter. He's almost certainly betting the turn if it's not a spade. By the way, I like a little Hollywooding on the flop call - just a bare moment of hesitation. Don't overdo it, but don't insta-call.

I'm more inclined to push if the turn is a spade...

To get the fake bluff call?

I'm more concerned about the spade because it will slow him down. Probably doesn't change my betting much, I'm going to spring to life either way.

If he has 2 spades, I'm sucking out.
Otherwise, I really don't want to play a river and might induce a really terrible call when we push on the scare card.

Oh yes, agreed on that point. I don't want to play a river here either if another spade comes. I'm more concerned that a spade comes, he has zero of them, and it kills my action. I think he's usually going to keep firing on the turn after his cutesyness pre-flop and on the flop, but a third spade may put the clamps on that.

Not really any notes, post flop at this table tended to end on the flop so I had little information other than his PT stats, he tended to give me respect and stay out of pots with me. Over the 200-300 hands I played at that table this was probably our only pot together other than check downs. I would normally tend to just call the flop here with such a good hand to get a few more bucks out of him on the turn, but his preflop reraise (even though it was small) could have been KK in my mind (even seemingly good players do this with KK/AA at 100NL still) so I wanted to see if he had KK or was trying to buy it

Because you want to get out before you get too deep if he has KK?

I'm paying KK off for the max. I want all the money in the pot and calling the flop isn't likely to get us there. Also, if this gets ugly I don't want to be put to a difficult decision.

Yeah, I don't think I would lay this down but I wanted to know. Anyway...

I put him on something like a big pair or two big painted and reraised him to $20, he thought for a moment then folded so now I put him on AQ/TT/QQ as KK would have stacked me, he isn't going to let go of AA that easily, AK pays me off just like AA (or he at least seeks a cheap showdown), and QQ/TT probably fold

I elected to reraise the flop based on that even though its unlikely IMO, he might be semi-bluffing the flush with something like :As::Qs: and I knew that if he didn't have that hand and the flush hits on the turn he probably wasn't going to give me any more money, so I just took it down there.
