What kind of read do you have on villain? Any stats? How's he been playing this session?

a) I think you need to reraise more OOP PF, say 0.7/0.8.
b) If you are scared of the FD, then bet more like 2/3 - 3/4 of the pot, say $1-1.2
c) You need to push the turn given your stack sizes

Don't give FD odds to call on flop and turn, which is what effectively you did do.

I know at these stakes most players arent think about the odds.
But to punish players at this level you do need to be thinking about not giving the odds for FD to call so if they do it is +EV for you

I had no good reads, he was little bit on the tight side. And I raised only 5BB because I prefer smallball. I would like to see a flop before I commit a lot of chips. And I only bet half the pot (on the flop and the river) because I put him on TT-AA, I diddnt put him really on a draw, because he probably would have raised the flop. So I wantet him to stick around. thats why I only bet so little.
So what would you have done on the river??? CHECK OR BET

If you don't put him on a draw why check? Fearing the king?
Like the hand is played and with $2.90 left I would shove the river. Maybe he has a flush, maybe he has a set of kings ... but often enough he will pay with QQ, AJ, AA or even AK.

But I ack with Muzz' a, b & c ... make it at least $1-1.2 on the flop (you are closer to one third than to half the pot... into two (!) villians) and push the turn to make a potsized bet.

Preflop you need to raise more to like .80. Flop, I would almost pot it. Turn, with your stack and if you followed my advice for preflop and flop, you need to push.

At the 10NL FR, the tables are predominantly rocks and stations. Every now and then you will get a wild aggressive guy without any regard and a guy with a VPIP of over 60. That is why you want to value bet your made hands to death.

Build big pots with hands such as your set and these donks will pay it off. Never try to bet small with the idea that you may scare them away. The thing is, they're not going anywhere. Build it and they will come.

Reraise more preflop or just flat call.

Bet more on flop and turn.

As played you cant fold to a river shove, so shove it yourself and hope he calls with whatever he has. (Unless he likes to bluff in which case a check/call would be fun).

With stack sizes you should probably be allin by the turn. Why are you so short?
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?

TY all.
Thats what I did:
I bet 1/3 of the pot. If he raises me I probabyly fold. But he only called. He had KK and spiked his K on the river. Bad luck..
