i had something simular to this
was playing @ a 6max table not full something like 3-5 handed
player 1 raises preflop
player 2 calls
me calls ( a9 os)
flop comes 9 8 A
player2 bets .5
i reraise to 1
player 1 reraises to 3
i fold
player2 calls
and the hand plays out to where
player 1 raised pf with j9 or something
player 2 had either small pair or bad kicker
did i make the right fold by folding my a9 or
should i have just sucked it up and called all the way down
btw i was short stacked and was all i had left in my acct
and didnt have a read on either player

3-5 handed flopping top two pair? I would have put all my money in the middle. It doesn't get much better than that, not sure what else you would be waiting for...

What were you afraid of??? Maybe a straight draw, or pocket 8's?? If the game is three handed and you hit top two pair, you have to push, unless flop is all of one suit and somebody shows strength, or someting like that. But in most cases youll be way ahead on situations like this.
