If villain is know to be out of line and make plays like this without the goods I'd call.
On the other hand, with so many people seeing the turn card I think someone caught his diamond draw. A call-call by villain on turn smells like drawing. Raise harder on turn (there are 2 FDs out there!) and/or call the chicken bet on river.

Bet flop. You have a nice draw and you don't want the flush to get there cheap.
Failing that, raise turn much harder, make it the size of the pot. Make them pay more to draw.
As played I think you have to fold river.

I think you misread it, he has a gutshot.
I agree with the above though, seriously hammer that turn.

You're right, I misread it. I sometimes bet my gutshots, but not always. I will bet them at times in position in hopes of buying the pot there....

Thanks, my intention was indeed to raise the turn, but i need to raise it higher it seems.
(And yeah, the Villain made his flush (Kd, 5d I think it was) and I didn't fold... OUCH )
Kind regards,
