I know sets are very well disguised, but I feel like I should have folded this on the river. Before I called I said "I hope you don't have a set." I wanted him to have AJ.

I've been warned on this forum that TPTK is not good enough when you're faced with an all-in on the river. How about an overpair? I guess they're basically the same thing, the best singlep pair you can have.

Also, at the point when he pushed, I think it was another 25 dollars. Would you call, if you played the hand the same up until there?

I rarely (w/ out read) call an all in bet on the river with just a pair, be it over pair or top pair on the board.

I would have folded.

Your passive pre-flop play set this up. Build a bigger pot, then you don't have to laydown overpairs.

Also, consider that you're out of position, so you don't want a lot of post-flop action.
