This is my first experience with NL100, and it went pretty well. I lost about $50 on two hands early (DAMN THE RIVER I WILL FIND IT AND KILL IT), but I more than made up for it.

These two hands happened about one orbit apart. All of you fans of 74o will love my work, especially after you see what it got me the next time I bet big (and actually had a hand).

Normally there's absolutely no way I call the turn bet, but I had a straight draw and figured even if I didn't hit I could still bluff the river (the guy didn't seem like he had a strong hand).

The only thing I can think about this next hand is that the guy possibly thought I was full of crap again, I dunno. I actually thought this guy was a solid player after seeing 100-120 hands or so, but he turned out to be a huge Idiot Fish.

That EASILY doubles my biggest pot ever (previously $105).

I wouldn't even think about playing my 74o hand the way I did at a NL25 table. It just wouldn't work, there's no way that TPGK gets laid down at that leve even if there's a chance that somebody improved on the riverl. Now at NL50 and above it can work...

#2 - this is why its so important to bluff or to at least give that impression; you got amazing action on that hand - congrats!

That was f-ing beautiful...I guess I need a testicle transplant to make those kind of moves.

And, you are exactly right on 25NL. I was messin' around on these big turn/river bluffs this weekend, and got called 3 separate times at 3 different tables..once by bottom pair!

nice play. I have been playing on the $50 tables as of late and I am thinking of moving to the $100 once my current cold run ends. Hows the water in the $100 fishin holes?

I haven't played a lot of NL100 yet. But from what I can tell there's a LOT more aggression. It's hard as hell to know when your AA or KK are good in any situation. Look at my second hand again. That guy went all out with MIDDLE PAIR with a good kicker.

The higher you go up in levels the more aggression you see. Which is a good thing if you can get them playing back at you like I just did.
