How do you play the flop/turn?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP ($5.20)
CO ($11.65)
Button ($12.60)
SB ($7.70)
Hero ($8.60)
UTG ($14.15)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 6, Q.
2 folds, CO calls $0.10, Button calls $0.10, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.40) J, Q, Q (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.4, CO folds, Button calls $0.40, SB raises to $1, Hero calls $0.60, Button calls $0.60.

Turn: ($3.40) 8 (3 players)
SB bets $1, Hero ?

I wouldn't 3-bet this flop. I think you really need to practice some pot control here. IMO flop is fine, and I'd just call the turn, and play some poker on the river.

If I 3-bet this flop, it's with the intention of not putting anymore money in the pot if I'm called.

I would play it the way Lukie does. No reason to give away your trips. You want to get some money in the pot, but thats happening anyway, no reason to commit your stack.

playing a big pot here sucks if your opponent isn't a donkey. If he bets the river and I raise, it says a lot about him, no doubt.
