I am posting this hand because it is of interest to me. Is it +EV to for villain to fold like this when hes got 4/5 of his stack in the middle, even if he's almost he's losing?

I definitely admire his discipline to lay down a hand like that, not feeling pot committed at all, whether its +EV or not.

I always play big blind specials passively like this. Its kinda a principle of mine. I look at it like "well I'd never play this hand under any other circumstances, so anything I make here is like a bonus." This is probably a horrible way of looking at it, but at the same time, you really do look like a chump when you lose a big pot with Q3.

You look like a genious when you show it down though and win a big one....all I am saying is...I don't think anyone else has a 3...and therefore I lead and go for someones stack.

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
line worked here.
i dont think it does a great number of times
As a note, im of the very small group (perhaps 1) that beleives folding the worst hand is always best. Calling or moving all in with what you have left on the second best hand is dumb, dunno about ev or not.
Saying that i call a lot of rivers with decent pot odds on my hand to find i have the best where i never thought i did.

I would just call the river. Button either hit really big too or has air. This looks a lot like air.
