calling is soooo obvious but 3betting wouldnt look great either.
I think id call here and bomb the turn which doesnt pair the board.
If my opps suck i might 3bet here.

How about a minraise? Inflates the pot without being too scary, sets up for a good PSB/push on the turn?

tells anyone who doesnt have a flush to bail
If you dont want to raise i think you have to call hoping for some overcalls behind.
Otherwise you isolate the miniraiser in hopes of getting him to play a big pot. Reads essential here imo

Yeah, like I said, it was the second hand....
These ones are always tough for me 'cause I hate slowplaying the nuts, for obvious reasons, but want to maximize the hand at the same time.

i guess as new to the table you'll get respect for having what you represent by betting here on top of the miniraise. Thus the table gets the idea you fast play monsters etc...
However staying low until the turn and then inflating/escalating the pot is an obvious line but probably better considering you'll get respect as an 'unknown' in the hand who's new to the table.
Like you say, not a tough hand to play, but a tough hand to maximise with. I think id call and raise behind on any turn but be wary of a paired board, i dont think a set miniraises here i think tp might if the player holding it sucks a lot, perhaps also two pair or a made, lower flush. Miniraisor thinks perhaps pfr'er missed the flop and is trying to isolate of find out where he is rather than pot building (shitty attempt) Calling is so obvious but against a player who miniraises here i think you get away with it a lot.

I went for the minraise. Don't think I like it...
Pre-flop: (9 players) Hero is MP3 with Q A
3 folds, MP2 raises to $3, Hero calls, 2 folds, SB calls, BB folds.
Flop: J 3 T ($10, 3 players)
SB bets $7, MP2 raises to $14, Hero raises to $21, SB folds, MP2 calls.
Turn: 9 ($59, 2 players)
MP2 checks, Hero bets $40, MP2 raises to $80, Hero calls all-in $35.
Uncalled bets: $5 returned to MP2.
River: K ($209, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $209)
Results:
Final pot: $209
MP2 shows 4c 2c
Hero shows Qc Ac

And what hands are going to stick around? With a raise you are folding out nearly anything except for a flush and against unknowns you cant really put them on something that will let you know if they will another bet. A call will probably get in another bet from the SB while raising is going to push him out with nearly anything. Another club may make people slow down, but you will most likely get more out of the hand on the turn when it isnt a club than you would on the flop, and more often than not the turn will not be a club.
