Baran77 has a pretty wide preflop raise range, making many small preflop raises of 2-3 BB in all positions. Plays somewhat weakly postflop with the exception of one major (4* pot headsup) overbet on a 2-flush bd when he had 2pr.

No good read on the others.

Comments on each round of betting appreciated, especially the turn. I was going to goose the turn but didn't like the Q (with the opp's wide opening range and modest preflop raises I couldn't discount KQ).

I assume merely calling the river bet here is appropriate?

Why would you call the river bet? I would min raise the river bet. Anyone with a full house would come back over the top, but most of the time you have won this hand.

I raise that turn for information and to build the pot. KQ is possible, but I don't buy it the way he is leading. I am building the pot for now and likely to get as much in the middle as possible.
The way you played it: On the river, I raise his bet to $12. I think he'll call another $7 to have a shot at $29, if he has a queen. Otherwise, you don't have to show your hand. You also leave enough behind to fold to an All-In re-raise.
I think you may be playing this one a little scared. KQ isn't that likely, given your read.
Playing live . . . thanks alot Bin Laden.

Calling the flop bet makes it difficult to get in all of the money.

Lukie is on a distinguished road
I hate the flop call here. I like a raise to $5-$6 here.

As played, turn is pretty tricky. I think I just call here and like Fnord loves to say, play some poker on the river.

River.. I hate a raise here to those who are saying it should be raised. A straight has no business putting in a raise here. Call and thank villain for not putting you to any difficult decisions.

Thanks for the input guys.

To the flop - I had a chance to think about it and you guys are absolutely right. Not only does it get more money in the pot with the nuts but it also screws the middle caller.

Fnord, how much do you pump the floppo?

Bankit: I don't raise the river because the stuff that calls, beats me (with possible exception of AQ. which would probably bet the turn harder?!).

ps - lukie is filled with hate

There is no flush so the only thing you are worried about is KQ, Q9, Q7. Your hand is good enough for a min raise of the river bet. (my opinion). My guess is he has a Q but not a FH.

On hands where you are very likely to be ahead, go ahead and price them in with a 1/3-1/2 pot bet on the river. If they bet the river, min raise it.
Stakes: Playing $0.10/$0.25 NL
