villains range is not THAT important considering what cards are on this board.

just throw out like 38 bucks

also bet flop

also fold turn mostly, unless you reaaly feel like you have good IO here.

I couldn't agree less!

OP is asking whether he should push the river with a non-nut hand. First thing I want to know is what is the likelihood that opp has the nuts!

A8 spades is a possible hand here so before considering a shove I am thinking:
1. Does he complete SB with AXs.
2. Does he bet turn with combo draw?
3. Is he capable of anticipating we will bet when checked to and going for a river check-raise with the nut hand?

His turn bet only really fits a narrow range of hands (assuming he is a good player) - so with a bit more specific info we can work out where we stand here and what the best play is.
tbh I am having a hard time believeing he would call a shove with 2 pair and finding it difficult to put him on a set given how the hand played out (hence need for info on opp) so can't see what he calls a big bet with here...

i felt i could bluff any 4 card straight falling plus obviously getting value on a flush, only reason i didnt fold turn.

Ive been fed up of betting and getting raised from out of the blinds so ive played much differently out of the blinds recently.
