#1 only 79 beats you. This is a tough spot and his limping PF doesnt help. IMO you played flop and turn fine. Re-raising on turn is a possibility, too.
#2 Do you think a set would pla like this. I am under impression that most $50 players would slow play here. He might have top pair, flush draw, or JQ. I strongly consider pushing here given the read he is a maniac. Against a player more solid this would be a really tricky one.

#1 - you pretty much have to call that and payoff 79 - which I don't believe he has - looks like he has 77, 44, 88, or 7x and you'll either split the pot or take all his money
#2 I tend to raise big pocket pairs a little higher from early position - you've got one limper and so many left to act I'd say 2.50 - 3.oo in this case - though I understand that you figured you'd only get 2 callers normally. The flop - you mention the better is a maniac but what kind of crap is he showing down? I've had a loose/maniacial player do this to me with KTo - I pushed, he called and rivered a third ten. Standard play says that you reraise to see where you are at and chase off any draws - problem is the damn pot size - also, would he call with T4o or 9To? No way I'm putting a maniac on a set, but he could have 2 pair. I hate overpairs with fricking 5 people to the flop - most of the time you are losing those...how fishy is the rest of the table? Are they going to call your a big reraise from you with a flush or straight draw? It depends on how much you want this pot - but no way you call - you either raise pretty hard and fold to overaggression (unless your really read the maniac for just having AT or somesuch) or fold it outright.

Hand #1: I call and hope he doesn't have 79. I believe you are going to split the pot though. I think he has 67 or 78. You may get lucky if he overplayed a set, but I bet you split the pot.
Hand #2: After reading the HH, I fold. But I wouldn't have while playing. If I were the one caught up in the hand, I would probably reraise to $28-30. Checking to see if my KK is good.
With 5 to the flop after a 4xBB PFR, someone has TT or 99. Likely to have JJ or QQ too., but after your raise they should slow down and you can show down cheap. The reason I say fold, is because diamond draws and OESD are getting huge odds. Some moron is going to smooth call $30 and hit his draw. I hate it and I'm weak, but at these limits I fold. Especially at fishy poker rooms.
