You lose, the flop reraise give you all the information you need. He has a K and won't fold. Even if he had a jack, you're kicker is bet and you played it way to passively to justify the call with "was going to take it away from him on the turn." I don't mind the flop reraise for information, but fold when the information is given to you.

thanks. i guess it didnt cost me much this time.

curious, how often do you guys lose your buy-in at a given NL table. It would seem to me that if you are re-raising and trying to bet and raise for information most of the time that your variance would be very large and the likelihhood of bottoming out is greater.

When you play aggressively, you pick up a lot of the pots when you're just "looking for information." My variance isn't that bad becuase of my experience playing post flop. That's what you need to develope is post flop experience. When I was starting out, I was up and down but up happened more often than not.

ok. i'm up and down too. i've only been playing micro's 5c/10c and some 10c/25c for about a week now online.

before that just poker with friends where nobody's that serious. i've put in about 3000 hands so far, maybe i could post my spreadsheet on here for some analysis ?
my flop% is around 23.8% ...
