This is the sort of hand I get in trouble with. There's flush and straight draws here. The J and the A could have completed either.

What do you think?

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (10 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($15.45)
UTG+1 ($28.28)
UTG+2 ($27.70)
MP1 ($56.23)
MP2 ($10.60)
MP3 ($6.62)
Hero ($30.70)
Button ($24.65)
SB ($9)
BB ($62.29)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 7, 8. SB posts a blind of $0.10.
2 folds, UTG+2 calls $0.25, 2 folds, MP3 calls $0.25, Hero calls $0.25, Button calls $0.25, 1 fold, BB checks.

Flop: ($1.35) 7, Q, 8 (5 players)
BB bets $0.25, UTG+2 calls $0.25, MP3 calls $0.25, Hero raises to $2, Button folds, BB calls $1.75, UTG+2 calls $1.75, MP3 folds.

Turn: ($7.60) J (3 players)
BB checks, UTG+2 checks, Hero bets $3, BB folds, UTG+2 calls $3.

.. checks. There are not many hands you beat (KQ/QT?), none of which will call a bet. And there are not many hands you don't beat that will fold to a bet.

If you're gonna bet the turn, don't bet less than half pot.

(What happened to your "table sucker" sig? Cracked me up every time.)

Miffed22001 is on a distinguished road
takes his free showdown. If they called you down with a worse hand good and if they checked a draw or called you with the completed draw on the money streets then they lot a shitload of money.

I checked and took it down versus 96s (hearts).

Would a good turn bet be half? Or should it be 3/4?
