No real comments to make... both played just fine (although raising AT from under the gun is a bit questionable, even with just 7 playing). Bet $1.50 on the turn with the jacks, $3 on the river. Unless someone's slowplaying a 4 you have no reason to bet low.

Nothing too bad here, just a small thing:

If you're going to raise ATs UTG, then raise it more (5xBB ish). I like to cut the field as much as possible and find out where I stand exactly.

My bad. First hand, in that case, is fine.

#1 - he was on some kind of straight draw. You did well. You want
to keep him from getting odds by increasing the bet relative to the pot
Beware of the draw, though. If the board is looking two organized you
may want to slow it down. He will get his draw 1/3 of the time and may
try to trap you and get his implied odds.

#2 - when I see them calling like this with that board I think either they
have a flush draw or they're slow playing a set. I believe he had a flush draw and connected on the 9 or 7 for a pair. But you can't predict this case so your value bet of $1 is OK. If you bet too much they will fold and you get $0. Plus there's always the possibility they have made the set
and you then are faced with calling a bigger raise.

sounds like in pot limit the better move would be to limp UTG and play it as a flush drawing hand? AT is a bad top pair hand anyways.. if the field cant be limited, your best bet is to limp and hope to flop some gold.

Thanks for the correction. I meant "too" organized and not "two" organized.
