ok my hand analysis is...2nd player led out.. i tripled his raise pretty much indicating my hand.. AA or AK at minimum.. first position just smooth calls.. im thinkin at minimum he has to have three 4's or at most three jacks.. my plan was to check behind on the turn if he tried to trap and call a half sized pot on the river MAYBE to look him up but that wasnt the case... i think he put me on big hand i couldn't lay like aces and fired out a pot sized bet on the turn to get paid off...

well any comments would be appreciated... thanks..
ace king is not a made hand.

This is not a fold I'd make against a 1/2 buy-in taking a weird line. I don't think he had a big hand mainly because I don't often see small stacks betting pot OOP when it will likely deter action from hands that will pay them off.

Personally, I think he has a pair of kings at best and is hoping the turn pairing the board is enough to scare you off if he bets big. I just find that these weird lines by short stacks are quite often mediocre hands. They don't handle aggression properly and try to combat it by pushing back in inappropriate spots.

I don't think folding is horrible, but I really think you're ahead. And another thing... don't announce to everyone what type of hand you're folding. It's an invitation to get run over.
TheXianti: (Triptanes) why are you not a thinking person?
