Just sat down, didnt know Villain was a complete donk

Why did I check the turn? is that bad? I guess I wanted a cheap showdown
after his river check I figured i had the best hand and he might call a smallish bet with Kx, was that wrong too? check behind on river??

I think I bet $5 on the turn just to keep villian from betting into me on the river. Aces are probably good, so let's get some value and keep the river decision cheap in case we're beat.

Ok so I didnt play it horrible? good to know...

Villain turned over K2 for 2 pair. I feel if I bet 3/4 pot or so on turn Villain may have folded and I wouldnt be posting this right now
