Raise more preflop on the button. This hand probably would have been won there. If not and you're holding the over pair. I say drop the hammer (1/2 your stack). Make hime decide now if he wants to get pushed allin on the turn with two 7's on the board.
Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

You MUST raise that flop, if only to set-up checking behind on the river. $6 at least. Repeat bet the turn if called.
