Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.10/$0.25
10 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
UTG: $6.08
Hero: $40.40
UTG+2: $26.35
MP1: $28.70
MP2: $12.15
MP3: $34.30
CO: $22.55
Button: $3.59
SB: $33.30
BB: $33.50

Button and MP3 are manaics.MP3 is playing with free $50 Party gave him and has admitted to not caring.

Pre-flop: (10 players) Hero is UTG+1 with
UTG folds, Hero raises to $1, 3 folds, MP3 calls, CO folds, Button raises to $1.75, 2 folds, Hero raises to $5, MP3 calls, Button calls all-in $1.84.

My goal was to isolate against Button and get it all in with my PP(I know Button has nothing). But MP3 calls.....so now I def have no idea if he's calling with a speculative hand or if he's just calling because

Flop: ($13.94, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $11.12, Sidepot 1: $2.82)
Hero checks, MP3 checks.

Just the card I didn't want to see-the dreaded Ace.I reraised for the purpose of isolating against one maniac and it backfired.I have tio check and see if he has it.He checks.

Turn: ($13.94, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $11.12, Sidepot 1: $2.82)
Hero bets $8, MP3 calls.

I decide to make a bet for the pot-if I check the turn and he bets river I have no idea if he does have the Ace(or Queen) or if he's making a play at me.He calls.

River: ($29.94, 2 players + 1 all-in - Main pot: $11.12, Sidepot 1: $18.82)
Hero checks, MP3 raises all-in $21.3, Hero folds.
Uncalled bets: $21.3 returned to MP3.

Easy fold.

Results:
Final pot: $29.94

If both players are maniacs how do you expect to push one out of the pot? Your preflop 3bet isnt that big, it isnt bad but I definitely wouldnt expect a maniac who already has 4BBs in to fold here.

A flop check is what I would do too, you arent getting a maniac to fold any better hands, the turn though I just dont like. It brings another overcard and you arent getting a maniac who "doesnt care" to fold either an Ace or a Queen. I definitely fold the river to a push, but your line basically set yourself up to be pushed off your hand. Am I saying call? No, I just dont like how we got to this situation.

Yeah;in hindsight the only hands I should be doing this with is QQ/KK/AKs/AA(and KK and AKs would've been beat here as villain flipped up AQo and other other villain flippped up A4o).

Lesson learned-the hard way!
