Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG ($50.00)
UTG+1 ($26.65)
Hero (MP1) ($79.05)
MP2 ($59.85)
MP3 ($56.20)
CO ($104.00)
BTN ($34.75)
SB ($24.05)
BB ($71.85)

Pre-flop: ($0.75, 9 players) Hero is MP1
1 fold, UTG+1 calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2.25, 5 folds, BB calls $1.75, UTG+1 calls $1.75

Flop: ($7, 3 players)
BB bets $1.50, UTG+1 calls $1.50, [color=#cc0000][b]Hero ...

UTG limper is 44/16 - very passive post-flop.
BB is 34/14 - doesn't like to fold post flop. Donks a lot, but would prolly c/r AJ or better.

So my only thought at first was, ok I obv raise, but how much, but then the kids at irc go "oh noes, fold, ldo"
Now I'm confused.

I think folding is the worst option here. I prefer calling and seeing what the turn is. If you want to raise, raise it to $8.00.

stack sizes make raising awkward since you will have to call a shove from utg+1. I think just call is best.

What are their reasons for folding? IMO, calling stinks. Fold or raise. I would think that the donk bet is probably either second pair or flush draw. The over call is something similar unless they are the donk type that likes to slowplay sets no matter the type of flop and the action leading up to the flop. From my experience at 50NL, regardless of the type of hand they have when they donk bet, they will not fold to your raise, especially with these kinds of numbers. Raising into two loose stations with an under pair is probably not that profitable.

But, I'm a tourney donk trying to make the conversion over to cash so bare with me.

sprayed you said you don't like folding and then gave some good reasons why you dont like raising. why dont you like a call getting like 7:1?

Very good points. I guess calling allows you to get to showdown cheaply especially since you could be way ahead or way behind on this board. Does this sound about right?

I don't really agree with the wa/wb part because this is a super-drawy board but I don't think we have enough equity to stack off here and we have the best hand enough to call (although getting to showdown will be tough but 7:1!)
