Player here is loose preflop and pretty aggressive postflop. The old way I played I just called pf but I'm trying to get better here. How's it look?

I like checking the river, but I re-raise flop to $12 to see where we are and try to push out draws.

generally i hate the reraise here, but i guess its ok since he just minraised.

I think postflop is fine, but theres a lot of reasons to raise the flop. The more I think about it the more i'd raise and call a push on t he flop.

Renton, I actually reraised this because of your pf article. You drive home trying to play RIO hands HU and since he miniraised pf I figured it's probably ok to reraise. I didn't want to turn it into a set mining hand in a family pot.

I can see raising the flop, but calling a push?

i like the reraise pf. and i would reraise the flop... as for calling a push i would need to know more about the opponet, so readless i would fold to a push.

if he made a standard raise to like 2 dollars, i'd never reraise here. You fold out a ton of value, and generally tend to isolate only hands that have you beat.

I agree with that Renton. With a PP like 1010 and under im only raising or reraising a limp or min raise... if someone raises normal just play it for set value.
