Opp's HUD stats were 88/44/12 over 32 hands. What's your line with this TT? Should I fire again on the turn or is the check/fold good?

88/44/12? Wow, I would have done quite a few things different. 4betting pf wouldn't be bad for starters. On the flop I think calling is fine but I would have c/r ai on the turn. I don't see how I can let someone with those stats push me off an overpair for one stack.

Thanks for the reply - one more piece of info - he had called lots of raises and open raised/raised over limpers quite a bit, but he had only RE-raised once before (it was against me and he folded the river when I pushed over his bet when my AK made a straight).
So when do I want to play for my whole stack against this sort of player with just one pair? Do I pay off JJ-AA every time because I'll see 88-99/AK/AQ/whatever often enough?

I honestly don't think the fold is that bad, but given his stats and your read on him, I'm paying off every better hand because the range of idiotic hands you will see will dominate it. His hand could be 88+, AQ, AK, 56, idk maybe even A4? I know you like to have the nuts to play back at laggtards like this, but what makes a great player is the ability to felt without the nuts (or near it) and be correct. Just for example I won my first pot aipf with A high against a laggtard with 90/70 stats. No way would I call bet/3b/push with AQ without a read but I went with it. Sure he might have woke up with a big hand that time but I was paying it off. He showed KTs.
