Been working hard lately on staying in tune with my gut. I sometimes get stuck on hands, and make crying calls when something inside tells me I'm in trouble. I almost hear myself saying "f--- that, there no way he has one of those few holdings" Sometimes, I feel I should see the freight train coming.

Anyway, is this a case in point or a legit crying call? I smelled JJ or AA from this 22/11 player. Should have bet the flop, I realize...missed the c/r opportunity. River bet had me wary.

Slowplaying is the most over rated aspect of NLH.

I like betting these sort of flops for about 1/2 pot oop. He either has the Jack or something worthwhile or he doesn't, if he does your weak bet is often seen as the flush draw and gets raised.

If hes aggro at all i'd then play it like the flushdraw right up untill I check raise the turn.

move to bad beats plz.

planing for a c/r on the flop is fine sometimes, but lead out sometimes for balance. Raise the turn and what in the world has you scared on the river? You have a boat. there are 3 hands that beat you here and you shouldnt be worried about any of them really.

dont post results.

This is only a crying call if you bite your tongue from the excitement of shoving all your chips in the middle and yelling shipit.

Bad beat.

Flop check is fine folks so few of you balance the lead into the PFR play anyway so you may as well balance out your PFR check/raises.
