I've been scared playing trips lately because of all the bad beats.. I was scared on the turn, should I have bet there anyway? Tell me how I did..

Results in white.

if you raise the turn, you probably don't get him to bluff all in with crap - Problem is that even though it turned out to be a bluff, thats a scary board for all your money - do you call any bet if the Heart gets there on the river? Heads up, flopping top set, I call that all in unless I think the guy is a very good player -

The villain was the one who raised preflop, and in a normal situation I'd put him on broadways or an overpair easy, but this guy multi tables at 5 NL regularly and is very LAGGY. I've seen him raise with crazy stuff which made that turn card a scary thought.

Two quick things, 1, use a hand converter, and 2, thats a set, not trips.

Anyways though, Im really not sure I like the turn check, and as fnord says, with a check there you need to be raising his bet. Why did you simply call that? It is a scary card, but what hand with a 6 would your villain have? You said he is LAGG, but how lagg is he, what hands with a 6 would he play this way?
