Lol @ me playing $2.00/4.00 NL. I only have $2.5K but my friend wanted to watch me play something other than $0.50/1.00 so... peer pressure . Anyways I land a set on the turn from the small blind and get reraised by the big blind. I called the turn and I check the river. And he bets 1/2 pot. So; call or raise river? Oh; no reads on villian...

The idiotic thing about this hand was, due to the relative size of my BR ($2.5K) to my table stake ($400), i probably played this hand a lot more conservatively than i would've if the blinds were at $0.50/$1.00.

Preflop:
I'd raise preflop, but whatever, you chose to play it safely, so Im not going to judge you.

Flop:
Check around, I personally would not put BB on K-K or J-J, you can put him on K-J,Q-10, or J-4, so he basically checked to wait for you or the other play to catch a pair.

Turn:
You hit your set, you bet out 12 dollars and he makes a raise of 36, seems like he wants a caller here and he made a value raise.

River:
Bets out about 1/2 the pot again, there's no flush on the board, only Q-10 or 8-10 would have u beat, Im not too worry about 8-10 coz he wouldn't raise with 8-10 to catch a gut shot on the river.

Conclusion:
I'd called here, re-raise is not a bad option here since the only hand I can think of beating u here is Q-10, but since you played your pocket 9s too conservatively in this hand you should just called. If on the other hand you bet on the flop and he called, Im 90% sure u have him beat with a set(he prolly wants to bet-call and bet-raise to get the most money out of this hand with TP or two pair) and you can go ahead and re-raise him another 75 dollars and he'd paid you off.
