I'd fold, best you can hope for is a coinflip.

If he does have a pocket pair it's a coin flop, if he has AA/KK/QQ/AK he is way way ahead. Only way your ahead is if it's AJ or a random hand bluff.

I just dont think it's worth the call.

Your not pot commited.

Edit: OOPS! .. I forgot about the 4 man game... I'd call in 4 man... Jold in 10 man.

ps: I like to train the fish to come over the top anyway =)

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

Why the fuck does the question not mention a read at all? What do you know about UTG? It's 4 handed, it's not like you have lots of guys to keep track of or you're folding a whole hell of a lot!

This play is 90% read and 10% cards...

This is becoming a funny thread.

I get stuck in 4-player games with friends from time to time and I hate it. In this hand, I'm the UTG guy, I'm holding AK, and I think opp made a Huge mistake calling the AI. "At best a coinflip" sums it up, I think. But I wonder if that's full-ring thinking?

For what it's worth, I auto-call Ripptyde in this spot, so I don't think it's an auto-fold.

This is a cash game, so you're no longer trying to avoid close gambles particularly when you might be getting the slight best of it. It really comes down to the range he'd push here and if you feel you need to stand up to him. Sounds like a pretty tame game, tipping me more toward mucking.
