Should I raise big or should I be cautious? My read on the guy was that he was pretty aggressive and it seemed suspicious that he threw out those minbets. Is he setting up a trap? What would you put him on?

Just call, worse hand arn't going to pay you off, but better ones are going to be thrilled. That is a good river for you, though.
He had KQ or something silly like J x
And if he had KQ, a river reraise would be very difficult to call.
Either way, just call and win.

It's only another quarter to call. My guess is that he missed his draw and is hoping a quarter bet will make you fold it...If he had a hand to beat you, he would have bet more than a quarter...a quarter bet is a...well, desparate attempt at making you fold...it would only cost you a quarter more to, at the least, find out what he was holding.
If he had raised you big(ie-a buck or more), perhaps he was trapping you...
At worst, you lose one more quarter to see what he's got...at best, you spend one more quarter and see what he's got and take the pot.

uhm, yeah but the question was rather if I was going to raise him or just call. There´s no way I´m folding to that bet!
As it turned out, I flat called him. Your guesses about his hands are quite good. He was holding AQ of hearts, a hand with a few outs (2 queens, 4 jacks, and from his point of view, 3 aces). Also he has a made hand that beats a bluff. I´d say a typical second best hand that is hard to let go of.
When I first saw he had AQ, I didn´t realize he was counting on nine outs on turn and river, so I thought to myself that I probably could have squeezed some extra bucks out of him with a raise on the river. But now I think he would have folded to any substantial bet.
Thanks for your opinions.

This flop is live! This is a hot one!
A big pair is NOT going to win this. Usually.
Call.
A club or jack (both?) on the turn can get you excited again. But you HAVE to be thinking, on the flop, aw shucks not this time i guess.
Okay, with that out of the way, you're actually in pretty good shape headup. The twopairs, str8s, and flushes mostly pop up in multiway pots. Still this is the kind of thing where you go in hoping for nothing and if you end up with something at all it's a nice surprise.
Now...
wtf with this op?!?!?! You've clearly indicated you're here to play, and he keeps betting a quarter at you? Frankly I'd be offended. But I wouldn't bet the turn or river big. He called the big raise on the flop. How nice for him. He's going to have to speak up if he wants you to keep biting this hook.
