I cant find the hand history, so here is the reconstruction. No reads as the guy was new.

I was BB holding :Ah::Js:
Get two callers. I check. Pot is now about $1
Flop comes :Jd:
I bet $3, only get one caller. Pot is now $7
Turn card is :Jh:
I bet $1 to trap. Villian raises to $5. I reraise to $9, Villian folds.

I was thinking perhaps it would have been better to have waited and did a bit of an acting job (let the counter run down) before calling and then raising on the river? I really thought he would call the reraise though. Is there a better play?
Roll Rebuilding (for the second time). Current; $1600 from $300 (previous, $2300 from $15)

From the description, it doesn't sound like the Villain had anything he would have called with - maybe he had 99 or somesuch and put you on and 8 or 7 with the weak turn bet.

If he folds to a reraise on the turn he is definitly going to fold to a river bet. Unless, of course, he catches a great card that makes him think he has the winning hand. And then you're 'effed.

You played it fine. You're out of position, why give a free card if you're going to raise the river anyway?
