PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (8 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

MP2 ($50.70)
Hero ($49.25)
Button ($47.50)
SB ($35.80)
BB ($23.20)
UTG ($21.05)
UTG+1 ($109.65)
MP1 ($50)

Preflop: Hero is CO with J, A.
4 folds, Hero raises to $1.5, 1 fold, SB calls $1.25, 1 fold.

Flop: ($3.50) 2, 3, J (2 players)
SB bets $2.5, Hero calls $2.50.

Turn: ($8.50) 2 (2 players)
SB bets $2.5, Hero raises to $8.5, SB raises to $31.8, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $25.50

Unknown, 6 hands ... I guess since he's short this might be a bad laydown? Meh, maybe a bad laydown regardless, 2 is a good card. Flop/turn donks insta, he timed down about 30 secs before shoving turn. Comments everywhere welcome.

I think there's a decent chance he's bluffing the turn but you have to fold.

I like it until the turn raise. Is it for value, or as a bluff? Cause a shorty who's probably bad isn't likely to put you on a range well and may just give you credit for a 2 here and laydown his QJ/KJ.

I feek ok getting it in vs an unknown 50NL halfstackish villain with TPTK here, so if it's for value & you call the push...giddiup?

Turn raise def for value... I can see him easily calling but I not re-shoving JT-JK. If he calls and checks river I shove.

Holy shit this is the biggest fistpump I've ever seen.

They have nothing so often here that I just wait until the river to value raise but raising the turn isn't bad. This is almost always a worse J or 88-1010.

Ok, I'm apparently way too conservative or putting villian on way too big of a range here...

The pre-flop 3xBB raise by you in CO looks like a potential steal to SB or you may have a made or potential hand... so he calls... so he either has a hand or puts you on a wide range and is defending...

Flop comes, he potentially hits at least a pair by betting out, but he is betting 5/7 of pot so flop didn't seem to scare him... that narrows his range IMO... I'm thinking high PP, TPGK , potentially he has Ax which might be leading for straight draw... you call but don't raise, so he puts you on a pair at least... not a flushy board so that is out.

Turn comes and is a 2... now he was potentially on a pocket pair of 2's to start, or another high pair, A2 is a possibility to, so if he had a 2 he has trips, otherwise he isn't scared of a pair of 2s because he put you on a higher range to start... so I've narrowed him to trips, a set or QQ, KK, AJ. I't probably a bit conservative but I fold it out too... I think he has you.

i raise his donk bet on the flop as well cuz these shorties doesnt look like nits. As played, you've got to call his shove after putting 1/3 of starting effective stacks in the pot.

Maybe raise the turn a little more to like $10/$10.50 then calling his ai is a little easier. Your raise gives him like $6.50 to call a $19.50 pot. But either way I probably call.

Woah there...easy on the assuming this villain is thinking.

I've found that with halfstacks it's more +EV to assume they're level0 thinkers. Guys who have played in home games where TPNK is da nuts.

yeah, i dont give these ppl much credit for their tiny donk lead at all. However, if this guy c/r shove on the turn, i might fold this.
